I have had two different types of intakes installed on my z and it's all been a waist of money. Stay stock and keep a fast z. Intakes will make your car louder and slower. You will loose all the quickness. Just a nice exhaust and your set.



K&N drop ins are the way to go,,,,

How did you come tO that conclusion?? There are dynos out there proving these tubes add hp...

Received mine yesterday. Not expecting any noticeable hp gains, just want to clean up the intake at a reasonable cost. K&N drop in filters helped the throttle response.

Instructions say to remove strut bar, engine cover, and a half dozen other intake items, along with disconnecting the battery and MAF sensors. Thinking this is overkill.

Plan on trying to squeeze this in like everyone else, if necessary I'll remove the strut bar and/or engine cover.

IMO the MAF sensor is not being changed or moved so no reason to disconnect.
