I'm one of the ones that installed it after HFC's. I dynoed stock, then with HFC's and then swapped in the Tanabe Y-pipe. So I guess I haven't done what

I'm one of the ones that installed it after HFC's. I dynoed stock, then with HFC's and then swapped in the Tanabe Y-pipe. So I guess I haven't done what you were asking but can tell you that it will deepen the note of the exhaust a bit, reduce some rasp and give 5 hp throughout the curve. I would say that if you are not going to go with HFC's down the road then the Tanabe Y-pipe would not be worth it as the best part of the y-pipe was that it reduced the rasp from the HFC's
