I'm pissed for you but I definitely am happy to know to never EVER give my car to those idiots to mess up, it's really disappointing & disgusting .
yeah everytime I now go in there I just shiver when I see him walking around there with GT-Rs all around him.

its that thierry guy by the way

one damaged piece ok, that can be an accident but there are like 3-4 pieces damaged.

Maybe he tried to install it without removing the bumper. That would be my guess for someone installing this for the 1st time. Did he have the instructions on hand?

He did take the bumper off, I was there when he was installing him but I was more talking with the dealership's owner then sticking my nose in the engine bay. I think he did follow the instructions since I saw him reading it once in a while but he didn't unplug the battery as he said it is pointless since the ECU relearns instantly.

problem is he knows no dutch and I know no french.

Haha I love Belgium. When I was there a few years ago I tried to speak French to people, but everyone just stared blankly at me. I wound up blabbing in English and things got figured out. I think someone yelled at me in French though when I accidentally put garbage into a can meant for umbrellas.

Also, why is the default answer from dealerships always that the customer is an idiot and can be lied to? If I found a worthwhile service department I'd probably be happy to take my car in, even if it was an hour away.

I think it's because a lot of the people they deal with are idiots when it comes to cars. When someone with automotive knowlege comes by and calls them out, the first reaction is gonna be defensive. Afterall, no one else complained. Sometime playing dumb gets you better results. It's useless to argue with stupid people, especially when they think they did nothing wrong.

Actually quite the opposite.. we're just fine with happy customers with a product they enjoy, installed properly.. trust me it booms way more business than an unhappy customer.

We've had some customers over-tighten the t-bolt clamps and have some slight bending of the intake tube, but I will have to say you're unfortunately victim of by far the worst I've seen pictures of. I can't imagine the amount of torque applied to that to bend the tube to that degree.

While never perfect, it will be possible to bend that back out, re-polish it and you shouldn't lose much performance gains (tough to say specifically as every bend and radius, especially that close to the MAF make a difference), but I can assure you we'd more than be happy with you having a perfect intake.

As you settle your discussions with the installer, please note we do have replacement parts, and would be happy to sell (the installer) the parts that were damaged, not needing a full intake. Just let me know.

Wow Vegitto...That really sucks @$$!!! Hope the delership doesn't try to pass the buck and claim "Its not our fault!" They should pay for a new intake sytem with shipping, and also do the install for free and throw in a free oil change for the inconvinence
