haha this thread reminds me of a car i just did for a friend 6.0l GTO with longtubes, offroad pipes, and two tiny unbaffled straight through mufflers, made by corsa. epic stupid 5+miles off 132 decibels loud but it sounds awesome!

Dude the Turbo Whistlers on any exhaust will give you the tone I think you're looking for. You'll fall in love with the Woooo Woooooo.

If you want your car to sound like another car, trade it in for the other car.

my friend has a 06 GTO with longtubes and custom sidepipe, and that thing screams

FI LTH's + FI Exhaust with no resonators. I think that would meet your needs. I havent read thru the whole so forgive me if its been brought up.

whats funny is his car is super deafeningly loud, has more done to it than my z (no cam yet though), and i can just about keep up with it. if i put my flywheel and testpipes back on i bet it would be an even race with me possibly edging him out until about 105 when he starts to slowly creep forward on me.

I've found that exhaust loudness needs to be proportional to car speed/acceleration. For example, when some guy puts a fart-can muffler on his '92 Accord, it just doesn't sound right. I felt the same way when I did the muffler delete on my 370Z a while back. It sounded super mean, but it didn't match the car. If your exhaust sounds like a racecar but you accelerate like a lawnmower, then you have the wrong exhaust.

From the looks of your sig, if you simply throw on some high flows and a tune, you should be edging your buddy out no sweat. I went up against a Lexus ISF and he didn't start pulling on me until about 135.
