I don't think its a thing about concern as much as you are doing something wrong... you might be holding a gear at high rpms for a long period of time...

reset that part of the trip computer and start fresh... you should be able to easily hit 18mpg.

because at this rate you get what 187-200 miles to the tank?? i average about 300-320 miles to the tank...
