Can't decide on what fi exhaust to get

Iam still waiting on my Z but everyday I get closer and closer to ordering the FI CBE. Iam still new so please bare with me. But whats with the list you guys mention. Are these exhaust just made to order??? Its not gonna affect my decision cause I love the FI exhaust but whats the waiting list on these things. Question two, does anyone have a sound clip of the non-resonated CBE. Iam only 23 and I want the thing loud I just dont want it to sound like crap, dont really care how loud it is just dont want that Civic sound. I also plan on doing the FI LTH eventually, anyone with LTH and non-resonated CBE? you guys think it would sould like crap?

I'm the same age as you and in the process of buying a exhaust myself.

Lets face facts, any bloke in his early 20's wants power. So normally HFC's or LTH are on the cards.

I search high and low on youtube for F.I videos.

The 18" inch res sounds the best when changing the cats full stop. It's no big deal anyway. Order the 18's if you find its not loud (which it will be). Trade with someone with 12's who made a mistake or see if F.I will sell the pipe with the 12's res as a part by itself.

I come from WRX/mazdaspeed background and I want a deep evil note.

LTH+no res = crazy loud and maybe rasp, but definitely no civic sound even with 18"...ever hear the car with the exhaust off?

I just got my 12" carbon fiber exhaust, with HFC's put on today and I couldn't be any happier!!!!! It truely makes the car sound like a beast, in a good way It does have some drone, but the deepness and tone is very acceptable! I wouldn't go any other way. I am a 100% satisfied customer. ( I no longer need a radio..the tone is just perfect IMO)
