Ouch that sucks! And i thought only the US (ie California) regulated car specs/parts.

tvfreakazoid 04-27-2009 03:16 PM

personally the exhaust note is way to tamed. It sounds like a stock exhaust. The HKS on the 350 is much better.

For now, but I'm always changing my mind about these things :icon17: I'm planning on doing a custom, Ti, or SS exhaust in the near future, so that will definitely end up on my car at some point. Interested in what Berk has coming down the pipeline too.

Mr_Z 05-29-2009 02:06 PM

I just bought my 370Z.

I own a 350Z with Borla Catback exhaust system. It’s the best investment I have ever made on this car. The sound is deep and it “sings” all the way up. It’s quiet on the highway unless I push the car a little. It’s simply the best sounding car I have ever heard and beats any Porsche or Ferrari sound from far in my opinion. Most important, it doesn’t sound crappy like most of the after market exhaust systems. It sounds “sophisticated” and makes a lot of curious people turn their heads when I drive buy.

I am looking for the same sound for my 370Z. I would buy Borla anythime but I have to admit that I am a little bit disappointed with the “Borla developpement” video. Doesn’t sound as good as my current system.

The Stillen is my favourite for the moment. But I am such a Borla fan that I will wait for it to officially come out before making any decision. I would advise the same to all members…

One important thing about the Borla exhaust, the tip are inclined just like the original, giving a better “fit” overall. Stillen doesn’t have that unfortunately (and neither does Nismo from what I see)..

Does any of you have any more information about when the 370z Borla exhaust wil hit the market?? I am very impatient!!

Any comments/feedback is appreciated.

semtex 05-29-2009 02:36 PM

^ Welcome aboard. I highly recommend using the Search function if you haven't tried it already. A quick search on 'Borla' brings up a number of results, including the following: http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...ighlight=borla

Looks like a developer from Borla chimes in on that thread. Although I don't think he gave an exact date. Still, that thread would be the place for your inquiry, as this particular thread isn't Borla-specific. If that developer is watching that thread (which I hope he is), your question might get a reply from him there.

Borla's reply

Hello,
I contacted Borla and here is what they said:

"Thank you for your interest in Borla products. We are looking around 30days before the system will be released. Please check back with us around Mid July."

Can't wait!

Nobody has removed just the resonators, but batman_4 did remove the muffler. http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...er-delete.html

That's a pretty damn nice sound. I guess I'll be the first to cut it out and see how it sounds. I'll post it up when it's done.

This is my most recent interior sound clip, which includes not only the Stillen CBE and Berk HFCs, but the Stillen G3 intake and Stillen headers as well. This clip has already been posted to another thread (http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...-vid-dyno.html), so some of you may have already seen it. But I just realized I forgot to post it to this sound clip database thread. It may be completely new to those of you who are newer to this forum.

that berk exhaust sounds insane. i wonder how it sounds the same with stock cats. i don't think i'll be willing to replace my cats especially here in california.

spearfish25 07-02-2009 09:49 PM

As soon as that Berk CBE is available, I'm selling my TV to buy it. Or maybe selling my dog and my wife to buy it.

gnarf 07-03-2009 06:51 PM

any info on 3" true duals? i may just go straight into FI...

nightfire 07-10-2009 11:49 PM

I love the sound of this exhaust

Can anyone find any vids of this exhaust with berk cats? I've only found the 2 vids from Diversion and they don't have the car accelerating or a fly by. Plus it sounds TOTALLY different in his videos than any other video i've heard (even with hi flow cats).

Fujitsubo Exhaust Being Sold Yet?

Is the Fujitsubo exhaust being sold yet? I can't find it for sale online anywhere. I love the raspiness of it! Something different, all the others sound the same. This one sounds more like the HKS Ti 350z exhaust which I love.

nightfire 07-14-2009 09:01 PM

Nobody knows about the Fujitsubo?...

nightfire 07-14-2009 09:16 PM

Well I just went to their USA website and found that their only distributed by TEIN USA, but they aren't selling the 370Z exhaust yet, only the 350Z exhaust. Any word on when it'll be out?
