Default 350Z and 370Z Exhaust

How many differences exsist between these two exhaust systems? I have been wondering how compatible the two really are! The resources and product volume amounts in the 350Z would lead to discounting.

350z exhaust would NOT fit 370z exhaust at all. i tried injen ses for 350z exhaust on mine and it wont fit because 370z shorter wheelbase, therefore less muffler space. the 2 cars are too different to share an exhaust.

With a 6 inch extender to the mid pipe, my G35 fit the 350z Nismo Exhuast... So maybe the g37 would fit some of the exhausts with midpipes and Y pipes that you can extend. But i doubt it, because it seems the g37 is longer than the g35 and the 370z is shorter than the 350z soo.... prob not

Being under all 3 cars within this past month. This is what I realized.

G37/370 Y-pipe is similar but the midpipe and mufflers need to be extended
350z ,overall design is similar but nothing is compatible.

when installing 350z hfcs, y pipe does not have to be removed. however when installing the 350z hfcs, y pipe has to be removed since there is not enough space. so y pipe is different although cats are the same.

IMO..the stock 350Z exhaust sounds a lot more aggressive than the stock 370Z exhaust...I wonder what happened here?

I don't know how it sounds outside the car, but inside, I can't tell if its aggressive or not, weird, its just so soft. BTW, its my first Z and I thought it would at least sound like the 350z from the outside, yes ?
