![]() On topic: To the OP, sound quality is so personally based because your decision will be based on how you imagine the system will sound versus what the system will sound like in reality. If you want strong (friggen loud) low frequency go with minimal treatment ...(12" CF and no resonators). If you want some low frequency sound increase without rasp go with treated resonated HFCs and CF resonators...12" or 18" will affect how much low frequency noise is attenuated. The 18" will attenuate the lowest frequency noise over the 12". The quietest solution would be resonated HFC and 18" stainless resonators. Have fun!
