From what I read in a few threads, the sizes are different on the Typhoon intake, and the stock hoses are too small. People were complaining that it took literally hours just to get the hoses attached. I'm curious as to why they wouldn't have just reused the stock hoses if they fit well. I'd prefer to avoid this hassle if at all possible.

I've attached a couple screenshots below to see if those are the parts store hoses you're referring to. I'm wondering if I can get the right size, so I don't need to modify anything. I'll attach a couple photos of the actual used intakes I purchased. Please let me know if you see anything important missing whenever you have a moment.

I know it's a lot of questions for such a simple issue, but I'm sure something else will inevitably come up that consumes extra time as well. Again, thank you for taking the time to respond.
