Exhaust too loud

You can't have your cake and eat it. 1. You are supercharged. Should have went turbo if you wanted less sound. 2. You want max power so gutted your cats.

2. You want max power so gutted your cats. There isn't really any good combination of exhausts that is going to reduce your noise levels enough to satisfy you. You're going to have to understand you'll have to eat some power in order to quieten things down through resonators and especially good mufflers.
Optimiser, wanker and Rjk370z like this.

1. True

2. You can't run cats in the factory location on a boosted car and expect them to last so he needed to get rid of the cats anyway. Even superchargers will destroy them in the factory location. I ran 100 cell mil spec cats in my lead pipes. My HKS Hi Power exhaust with Art pipes was super quiet and didn't rob the car of power. When it was on the dyno, we ran it uncorked because I thought I was getting an exhaust restriction. It only gained 10whp uncorked

Its not that I expect/want to become a Tesla, but looking for options to reduce noise without MAJOR loss of performance. I understand that adding resonators etc will decrease HP. Just looking for the best way to do it…
