Did you guys just put the car on jackstands and just crept around during the install? I'm considering getting a HFC along with a Invidia Gemini exhaust. Trying to determine if installing a HFC and CBE is something I can do with just jackstands. Car is 3 weeks old, so the bolts should come off easily, just not sure if there's enough room to maneuver all the piping while taking down the stock and installing the new with only about 12-16" of ground clearance to work with.
Seems like hit or miss with the top bolts on each side. I've done 2 HFC installs so far. Each time the bolts did break loose with considerable force. I recommend a breaker bar with a pipe/jack handle slid over it. On the second install, the bolt broke loose but as we tried to back it out the head snapped off. This isn't an issue though since the stock cat will come right off at that point.

Some guys aren't so lucky though and have to torch/cut the bolts off. Just soak those puppies in PB Blaster the night before and hope for the best.

You'll have plenty of room with jack stands. We actually did the second install with just the front on ramps.
