It's 90F in california? WTF!

Also, sorry to say, I'm skeptical those intakes allow that much gain. Something seems fishy. Hmm, what does "SAE 1.0 / SAE 1.03" mean between runs?

Are you saying the dyno isn't from your car?

Why are the dates on the dynos "12/18/2009" if you did this yesterday (1/5/2010)? Also not sure how the air temp went from 82F to 90F in 90 minutes.

no it's not my car. the intake was under development for like 8-9 months or something. i believe i was the first one there to get tested. i posted the dyno of my car in a thread that i can no longer find, otherwise, i'd post that picture here. i believe the gains were 11hp but that dyno did not display torque gains.

i've talked to the rep that has been working with me on this and this dyno is basically the one they will be posting on their K&N website to be displayed.

this was a very long wait. and for me to get a dyno now would be a hassle, because i've already gotten the INVIDIA exhaust so i would have to get my old exhaust (stock) back on and then off...

What do the K&N intakes look like? Are those short-rams?

Something is not right here. And I bet the hood was up for those dynos which is going to give any short ram system an artificial boost.

That's my thought on it too - there's no way short-rams will get those kinds of gains without something being amiss...

I mean the car...stock...basically has cold air intakes.

really nice gains if they can be repeated on another car..although the initial stock reading seems a little low

How much are these intakes?
