Default throttle hang while accelerating

hello all,

driving my z back from austin to seattle, and while in the middle of UT, had to stop for some road works. ambient temp is 95-100d, and was stopped for a few minutes

upon setting off again, in 3rd and 4th, i had the throttle pushed, but the revs hung at 2.5-3.5k (cant remember exactly), but eventually went up again, accompanied by a jolt. revs stayed constant, so i think i can rule out the clutch.

looking at previous threads, i suspect IAT just got too hot while stopped and bogged down power until some airflow came through, cause it didnt happen after i stopped at a stoplight later.

thoughts?

High IAT would be my guess, too.
