Default Another P0106 Code

Hi guys, I got this code a couple of weeks back and used my basic code reader to get the Manifold Intake/Baro error. I took a look at, and cleaned the MAP sensor without any success. I could have ordered a new one and installed it but I wanted to see what the "pros" over at the local Nissan Dealership had to say. My experience was awful to say the least but I got a call 7 hours after dropping it off saying that I needed both new throttle chambers and a purge valve priced at $1,827. I was shocked and searched the forum religiously on the topic and still don't have any answer. Car runs perfectly with a nice smooth start-up, steady idle, and super throttle response. I'm at a loss of what to do next. This SES light is killing me and I can't justify $1,900 to fix it. Any help would be great

Check the output of the MAP sensor with a voltmeter. IIRC, 1-1.5V at idle; about 4.5V at WOT. Details in FSM (link in my sig)

Not farmilar with the issue but if I were you i’d take it to a couple different mechanics and see if they all say the same thing or if it differs. Nissan might just be trying to get some money.
