So what do you all think will be the sound/performance difference between the dual can mufflers(such as this) and the single can mufflers (such as the Nismo)???

I think the dual will sound more aggressive. The single canister designs (like the Nismo) have a lot more sound baffeling in the muffler. Even though these are "pretzeled" together; they are a pass through design, and allow for better performance gains.
