I've got the Berk HFC and their CBE and to me, the sound is perfect. I actually get compliments on the sound from fellow enthusiasts.
I installed everything myself about 4 years ago, and I have never seen a CEL... I love the sound when I get on it, and there is no drone on the highway. The only thing that is different is the HISS on deceleration. It's not bad, and actually sounds kind of exotic...
