I live in california, so I know both are illegal. And i wont need a smog check until 4 years. Thats what i DO know.
Glad I live in Nova Scotia. Smog tests? Not likely to happen here anytime soon. Modify away on exhaust up here.

haha... yeah trade off's. I may have crazy smog laws but I also never have to run a winter tire.
