If anything be wary of replacing the headers. Albeit not many folks have problems doing this you do tend to play Russian roulette when upgrading this part. I got a pair of stillen headers that were "defective" on the driver side where the steering shaft lies. I didn't know they were defective until the install because the steering shaft would bang into the header every time I made a right turn. Luckily stillen was kind enough to honor the warranty and they sent me a another pair. But the labor of installing the header twice was just not worth the minimal HP gain they gave me. I guess it pays to play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Wow..I though I took long. It took me about 6 hours to install my Berks but I love them. The two front demon bolts were the most difficult but I sprayed blaster lub let the car run for 30min and those bastard bolts loosen up with no stripped bolts. Patience is key but well worth it..sounds like a mini GTR lol

I had a shop do my test pipes, for this very reason, and I'm told they didn't have any issues. BUT in the process the vibration killed one of the front sensors that I had to deal with myself. 50k miles and there was no way it was coming out without destroying some s**t. We even soaked it in acetone and ATF prior to touching it.
Here's the result. Had to re-tap the header while in the car. Never again... ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
