PS for the guys wondering the height: my drive way is about a 50 degree incline and i have to watch out for my front under spoiler more than the exhaust.
Both resonators are straight through and we are talking about a difference in 6 inches in length. Although I have not dyno tested the two against each other, I feel that it is a safe bet to say there is no difference in numbers.

I am glad that you posted about the driveway and the height. I have heard very few complaints about scarping...

It is no problem. I will give you the weights in the following breakdown:

Stock Catalytic Converters: 22 LBS.
Stock Cat Back exhaust system: 57 LBS.

FI High Flow Cats: 13 LBS.
FI TDX Cat Back w/Stainless mufflers: 47 LBS.
FI TDX Cat Back w/Carbon Fiber mufflers: 41 LBS.

*Note*-Both of our cat back exhaust system weights were taken with the 12" resonator option. With 18" resonators, our exhaust might be 1 pound heavier but with no resonators it would be 2-4 pounds lighter...

Thanks, Tony

Are there any decibel readings for the 12inch and 18 resonator exhausts? just interested to know how they compare.

We have never taken a comparison decibel reading between the two different resonator sizes. I can break it down in a scale for you from 1-10.

(1) Being the quietest which is the 18"

(6.5) "Roughly" would be the level of the 12"

(10) Non resonated "Loudest"

So you see the 12" resonator is slightly biased towards the louder side and not quite in the middle.

I hope that this helps.

Thank you, Tony

Apologies in advance if this is a poorly phrased question, but are these relative noise levels (as quoted above) referring to the cabin noise or how loud the exhaust is outside of the car?

From what I understand, the resonators either decrease or increase the exhaust noise inside the cabin depending on the size (or existence) of the resonators. But do the resonators (12", 18", or non) significantly influence the loudness or tonal character of the exhaust from the outside? (I realize there might be slight differences just because the piping is a bit different, but is it material? Can you tell the difference between a 12" and a 18" resonated exhaust when the car just drives by, or only from inside the car?)

Thanks for anyone's input.

I'd like to know this as well as I'm trying to decide between 12" and 18" Resonators.
