Default stock muffler issue (rattling sound)

At hitting 130K miles around, recently I've heard some rattling sound at the back of my Z when it is stopped on R or D mode with braking.

Today I got my Z checked at a dealership and they said it needs to be replaced. Then I went to a muffler shop, they failed to fix it, and also said the same replacement (but maybe with an used one on cheaper price - still around $200)

I've really done my best for all maintenances, and never been to the track. I even don't think I'm a hard driver.
Is this stock muffler issue common? I cannot understand why it happened, and feel somewhat sad.

Yesterday a nearby muffler shop told me to call them back today for checking whether they have an used one or not, but today they answered that they just forgot to find it..

I'm sure someone around you would be willing to give you their discarded muffler. I gave mine away.

Thanks for your saying.

But actually I don't think that I would pay for another stock muffler.

Rather I'm consideringg to install a performance one instead, but now I don't know whether I need more parts for installation or just enough with this.

* I put two sample pictures here.

I gave up having a performance axle back because all the 3rd party parts I liked were non-CARB exempt.

Just I got a change to another used stock one for $180.
