AEM intakes fit 09-11 why not 12+?

Ok, well I just called AEM and got some good info. They did test the intakes on the 2012+ models. They worked for a couple days then started throwing codes

Ok, well I just called AEM and got some good info.

They did test the intakes on the 2012+ models. They worked for a couple days then started throwing codes and running incorrectly. The intakes do fit but will not work with the correction boxes. Tuning with just MAF extensions would work though. He said that the 2012+ models have different tuning than the previous models and it just doesn't work properly with their intakes!

Answered my own question but hopefully this will help some others.
