I worked for years in an aluminium casting foundry and am surprised that they didn't even clean the flashing off the parting lines. It only takes a minute and easy to do and cleans up the final product.....

I was going to say the same thing. For $2,000 I would fully expect there to be ZERO casting marks. What a joke.

Am I just being picky or does anyone else think that for 2k the exterior milling should be cleaned off?
And maybe the carbon fiber being placed properly?

1. Carbon inserts are just laid there for the photo to give you an idea, not glued yet!
