I also ended up going with Takada dual filters. I didn't like the single filter after a couple hundred miles. Also talked with a tuner and he stated the same thing I was thinking you actually get better gaines with dual filters.

I original bought it for the same reasons listed. However after testing both non cut single filter vs cut dual filter I'm happier and so is my baby.

Not that it was bad originally just a little better now.
