I got to Zerolift yesterday. I am staying in the area until my car is complete. Ran into a SNAFU, but we should have it sorted soon.......I hope.

Hi, I'm interested in getting my calipers done. Can you do hot pink? What is your current turn around time on these? Thanks in advance!

Mike 07-17-2012 02:05 PM

I've got a candy hot pink. turnaround time is two days if we schedule when they get to me.

Sweet. Do you happen to have any pics? I'm trying to see how soon I can get my calipers over to you. I'm going to guess that it'll be in about two weeks. I'll PM you when I know for sure. Thanks!

Mike 07-17-2012 03:44 PM

let me know before you pull them to make sure I won't be flying for my other job at the time.

I can look for a pic when I get home tomorrow night, but I haven't done the color in a long time, and lost a lot of pics on my old computer when it died.

Mike 07-17-2012 07:32 PM

found one

Mike, do you have any samples that is close to the Gold/orange brembo's on the new GTR?

Also, can you do a "burning black" or black chrome color?

My wheels will have a matt black face and anodized bronze lip. Still can't decide what color calipers to get? I want it to pop. Help!

Thanks

Mike 07-24-2012 08:41 AM

noone makes a brembo gold. This is the closest I have. As for black chrome, it looks more gray metallic.

I need to learn photoshop ASAP.

LMBmikeZ 07-24-2012 03:36 PM

have you done any with 40th anniversary as the decal? I know it was mentioned a while back but I don't think I ever saw any done.....

its a custom blend I made trying to get close to brembo gold, but it brightened up more orange when clearcoated. No installed pics though.

I could do 40th anniv. script, but haven't

future370zzz 07-25-2012 01:46 AM

Theyre actually candy pink, pic is attached. This was taken at night, the color is more accurate with the flash.

Mike, I saw in your gallery a honda engine valve cover in anodized red. Can you do that for the calipers?

Mike 08-10-2012 11:43 AM

Yes

birdmanx1 09-29-2012 08:49 PM

No calipers work, but intakes work done matching engine bay. Quite another stellar work performed by Mike :tiphat:

I like these a whole lot, I actually couldn't tell the difference between the ones you designed and these, that just shows how on point your tools are

MightyBobo 09-30-2012 05:19 PM

Get that engine bay cleaned, B?

I got it cleaned Rob. No oil product this time around and nothing else popped even after the 60miles cruise with the GTR & 60 miles commute yesterday

Thanks again for the install, you surely made it look easy ;)

Sounds like all that oil **** cooked and made a mess in the engine bay, then. Ick. Never use that junk.

birdmanx1 10-01-2012 08:55 AM

That's exactly it. I told the dude, no oil this time and VOILA, I got the bling bling in the bay back  I'm just thrilled there was no actual oil leak man.

Me too, but keep an eye on it to be sure. Just check in 1000-2000 miles and see if there's any messes forming.

Absolutely man

blue350gt 10-02-2012 03:18 PM

edit: worked it out

Mike 10-02-2012 05:35 PM

once again, sorry about the lettering, I should have just done stickers on top instead of stencilling and clearcoat. The white paint isn't cooperative when stencilling. We are fixing this though.

Armhunter 10-03-2012 05:59 PM

Mike,
send you an email through your Sales email earlier today. I sent an attachment with a color sheet to see if you had the specific Orange I am looking for and wanted to get things rolling.

Thanks again.

Daniel Camarillo

Mike 10-03-2012 06:40 PM

Just wrote you back Daniel,

Robert, I overnited stickers to you.

happytheman 12-07-2012 11:41 AM

Hey Mike! I'm pretty sure my wife is going to hook me up with powder coated calipers for Xmas. Just wanting to see what your lead time is lately?
