Infiniti370z 04-22-2013 03:49 PM

Sent you a PM Mike.

I like where your going with this and it has been stated a number of times. But Mike and Sam are ignoring those comments. :bowrofl:

PM replied and added to the list. Thank you!

The external wastegates work with our 3" downpipes that replace the cats/test pipes altogether. The external gates have higher flow than the internal gates and offer better boost control. They are more expensive, however. If you are looking to stick with stock cats or 2.5" test pipes, then the internal gates are the way to go. Keep in mind that the smaller exhaust will ultimately limit your power anyway, so the benefit of the external gates wouldn't really show themselves at the lower power levels.

There is not going to be a Tier 4. Tier 1 pricing is a steal and Tier 3 pricing is outright robbery. lol

I must have missed the previous comments. But again, the Tier 3 pricing is a once in a lifetime offer.

Dzel 04-23-2013 02:06 PM

I hope we're getting close to put our payments down my wife keeps coming up with ideas to spend that money.... I don't know how much longer I can hold out.

Mike PM sent.

gtabaz 04-24-2013 12:31 AM

Pm me please, thank you

khanhvu411 04-24-2013 07:42 PM

Omg, look at the list... and we were hoping to get enough people for the Tier 3 price. It is going to take a while before these kits ship out. :)

edub370 04-28-2013 08:36 AM

pm sent. go ahead and throw me on the list. #68! :driving:

Dzel 04-28-2013 12:20 PM

Well now that make 3 FI Z's in KC....well coming soon! I'll still talk to my buddy about helping install your kit with the car lift.

Dzel 04-28-2013 04:23 PM

I haven't even looked at who had bought it in Texas if anyone.

khanhvu411 04-29-2013 09:52 AM

I am in Houston, Texas

G37sHKS 04-29-2013 10:22 AM

what if serious buyers were only 20 or less.. will the price still be the same as pier 3?

SPOHN 04-29-2013 10:33 AM

I'm sure they will honor the pricing. But feel it will be way more. Maybe more from the G37 crowd. I could see 100 kits by years end.

edub370 04-29-2013 10:49 AM

still curious on a time frame

MavRick 04-30-2013 08:35 PM

PM sent, Mike. i cant believe im doing this....but i will kick myself if i miss out.

Dzel 04-30-2013 08:54 PM

Yes this is a very good time to be in the FI market

Yes, we will be posting the cutoff date in advance at the same time as the ETA.

Powder coating is an additional cost option we have available. It's an additional $240 for the gloss black powder coated piping.

The 18g's spool pretty quick as it is. That said, the 16g's will spool a little faster, but the big difference is in transient response. Since the 16g's are smaller turbos, they will be more responsive to throttle inputs than the 18g's.

I'm not sure how long those HFC's are going to last with a twin turbo kit since most HFC's for these cars aren't designed to handle the heat from forced induction. That said, you will be fine with either the stock cats or test pipes. Our Turn-Key kit comes with our tune and it will be setup for your particular combination of components.

We offer a standard one year warranty on our parts and workmanship.

As for payment, we will be announcing the date we will need payment as soon as we have determined when the kit will be ready to ship.

Mike,

The oil pan. How many extra quarts can I gain from stock. I Called u the other day and you said you needed to check with the engineer. Please advise. Thanks

Larry

edub370 05-01-2013 10:02 AM

so what setups is everyone going with?

im going wtih:
18g
iwg
tial bov's
black ic

Footloose301 05-01-2013 10:12 AM

18G
IWG
Tial/Turbosmart (probably not much of a difference)
HKS EVC

37lbs of boost for 2347whp

khanhvu411 05-01-2013 10:58 AM

:icon18:
Since it is my DD, I will go with 16g for faster respond. I am hoping to get somewhere around 400whp for the turn key kit and don't plan to rebuild my engine so no point getting the 18g.

edub370 05-01-2013 11:04 AM

just remember, later boost onset usually = less stress on a motor. something to kick around. will probably be negligable tho

SPOHN 05-01-2013 11:17 AM

Tuner Kit
18G ( best option when motor is ready to be rebuilt)
EWG open dumb
Turbosmart BOV and WG
HKS EVC with low and high boost settings
Bosch EV14 750cc injectors
Two Innovative widebands

Dzel 05-01-2013 11:30 AM

18G
IWG (EWG) depends on pricing along with Recirc
Blitz EBC
38 Row oil cooler.

It really doesn't matter on the brand of WG. I would like the loudest BOV I can get though!

According to the volume of the new pan vs. the stock pan, you are looking at roughly 3 quarts extra capacity.

wow, 3 extra quarts! Is it safe to say with a 34 row oil cooler 9.5 quarts total?

Yes, between 9.5 and 10 with our 34 row oil cooler (adds ~1.5 quarts).

MX52Z 05-01-2013 05:50 PM

Damn, I'd have to get a second mortgage to do an oil change.

SPOHN 05-01-2013 07:32 PM

You going to need for this car if you do a lot of back to back boosting and tracking for sure. I'll be testing that.

Dzel 05-01-2013 08:01 PM

Thank Gawd I do my own oil change!
