Hotrodz 04-15-2013 09:50 PM

Okay, okay, enough already I give! Sent Mike my info and I will be added to the list....so who's next.

With the saving on the kit, it makes it easier to afford all the other necessaries. I'm going with HKS spark plugs, Blitz sbc-ID Spec-R Boost Controller, SZ Max 6-Puck & Flywheel Kit, and a 34 row oil cooler!!!

No more running in the shadow of those pony cars!

This is a great deal, and just in time to shut those mustang coyote drivers the hell up!

Footloose301 04-16-2013 02:52 PM

.....and I'm in. PM'd Mike

vo370z 04-16-2013 03:04 PM

It would be real nice for GTM to give us the option, along with buying the turbo kit, to add in the other necessary 'missing' components. I think it is better to buy the 'complete' kit rather than buying them separately later like oil cooler, spark plugs, boost guage, etc....

You are looking at only another $1500. Now if you add that to the group buy price you will be paying for the kit. You will be spending about 300-500 more than the original price.

vo370z 04-16-2013 03:19 PM

Oh, ok. I thought it would be a saving plus with the financing options. With 2 kids in college, every dollar helps :-)

SS_Firehawk 04-16-2013 03:48 PM

I wouldn't doubt you would be able to include that into financing granted your credit worthiness.

khanhvu411 04-16-2013 06:07 PM

53!
:icon18:
Any idea what is the closing day and when GTM start to ship these babies out? :stirthepot:

Dzel 04-16-2013 06:29 PM

Everyone is still waiting on this and the installation manual.

MX52Z 04-16-2013 06:52 PM

No rush here. I'm still scrambling to get enough for the down payment. A week ago, I couldn't have forseen a $5,500+ expense but I'm pretty excited nonetheless.

Dude, I feel your pain got the same thang goin on. I promised my daughter who is studying abroad this year (mo money) that we would go see her before she comes home from Europe....so I booked the tickets and hotels and then GTM does this! I can't pass it up, #51! Planned right and got tax money back! Told the wife to forget about it, the money is spent. She didn't argue, cause she going to Europe. :rofl2:

Dzel 04-16-2013 09:27 PM

Try almost $11,000 :shakes head: Spending it faster than I can make it...:ugh2:

MX52Z 04-16-2013 09:54 PM

As far as sudden expenses go, it's a lot better than bail.

SAM@GTM 04-17-2013 02:05 PM

Just want to share with everyone, some of the production parts for the kit. Here is a picture of the new intercooler that will be included in the MHI kit. We are always getting asked for the release date. Rest assured that we are working very hard to ensure that we have all our ducks in a row so we can make this go as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

200 intercooler cores for the new MHI kit:

They seen what GTM was about to unleash on the streets. :stirthepot:

SPOHN 04-19-2013 01:25 PM

Add my name to list

brucelidat 04-19-2013 07:48 PM

Can you post a week ahead of the time cutoff when you figure it out? very interesting and a great deal, but still a lot of money to consider

Thanks for the advice. I've been talking to her about it since I posted here. Today she said yes! :happydance: but I still want to know more about the kit.

Can the black cold air intake pipes in the G37 7AT kit posted in the other thread be selected as an option? What is the difference in spool time in the 16G to 18G. Is it going to be a very noticeable difference? I always wanted more power on the lower end so I think I may go with the 16G? If I have BERK HFC and ARK Grip Exhaust will this be sufficient? Will I need a tune for with my and the kit installed with the your flash or can you include them?

What kind of warranty comes with the kit if any? When is payment due?

SS_Firehawk 04-21-2013 09:54 PM

Haha, I'm reliving the day I was pleading with my Wife for my own kit. She said yes, and I had to guarantee house upgrades. The other day she told me she misses the Z.

Yes, we will be posting the cutoff date in advance at the same time as the ETA.

Powder coating is an additional cost option we have available. It's an additional $240 for the gloss black powder coated piping.

The 18g's spool pretty quick as it is. That said, the 16g's will spool a little faster, but the big difference is in transient response. Since the 16g's are smaller turbos, they will be more responsive to throttle inputs than the 18g's.

I'm not sure how long those HFC's are going to last with a twin turbo kit since most HFC's for these cars aren't designed to handle the heat from forced induction. That said, you will be fine with either the stock cats or test pipes. Our Turn-Key kit comes with our tune and it will be setup for your particular combination of components.

We offer a standard one year warranty on our parts and workmanship.

As for payment, we will be announcing the date we will need payment as soon as we have determined when the kit will be ready to ship.

airikrankin 04-22-2013 01:34 PM

i sent a pm to sam@gtm last week realized it now so i forwarded it to you. id like to be on the list. is there a huge benefit for the ewg over the iwg? with the ewg would that remove the need for test pipes? or do the stock cats stay in place?

Dzel 04-22-2013 02:20 PM

I believe the stock cats or whatever you run stays except like LTH

zakimak 04-22-2013 03:02 PM

PM

NismoZ370 04-22-2013 03:22 PM
