Sorry for all the negativity on here George. The fact is that the 370 community isn't as familiar with GT Motorsports the way the 350 community is. I swear people would give their life for you guys over there...lol

Any plans for HFC's and headers? Full exhaust basically?

B1nks 04-24-2009 06:41 PM

I'm all about GTM here but it's like you said and I originally started on the 350 forums so I know a little about the guys haha. Hit me back with some answers GTM I wanna get it at 950 ! Also people keep comparing this exhaust to the Stillen one and the supposed horsepower results with the Stillen exhaust, but to me the Stillen exhaust isn't a true dual exhaust like this one because it still uses a Y-pipe so I would think this exhaust would be more performance oriented.

You know I think Im leaning more towards this exhaust now. I just really want to hear some better clips, you can barely hear the sound with the dyno clips. Right at the end of the one with the rear shot when they get down on the tips sounds good though.

Is the 2.5" with angled and burnt single wall tips? I'm kinda confused on why the "near production" pics show a 3" design which is the H design, do you have "near production" pics for the 2.5"? I'm not feeling the 3" rolled tips. Can you clarify this please? Thanks

Yeah is it angled out and burnt single wall tips?!
And better sound clips will be amazing!
Please let us know! And also are you guys selling intakes and headers?

So neither the 2.5" or the 3" are going to pass inspection ? Also the angled and stacked, which is which ? I see two different muffler designs. One with the mufflers length wise with the vehicle and the other with them touching at the back. What is the pro/con of having either one ?

Correct. We will have 2 different muffler configurations available. One will be stacked (which the mufflers are stacked together, similar to the OEM design) and one will be angled (where the mufflers are separate of each other and are angled on each side of the car).

The angled setup will provide better flow and weight less, the stacked setup will provide a more stealth appearance.

HFC's are a maybe at this point, headers probably not to be honest.

We do have our resonated test pipes in stock now though!

Correct, the Stillen does not have an X pipe, it has a Y pipe, and it is as much as a true dual as the factory exhaust is.

Guys as soon as I get a production version on a car I promise I will get some better sound clips for you. Due to the lack of interest in the exhaust this is not on of our top priorities, so it might be a while :(

I appreciate all the support from our loyal fans who know what we are really about :D

I know you guys are working hard on other projects, but the lack of interest on this exhaust may be at least partially due to the lack of videos/sound clips of it. I don't know about others on this forum, but the sound of the exhaust is very important to me and I'd like to know what I'm buying prior to paying for it.

George@GTM 04-28-2009 03:49 PM

I understand that, when they are available I will post them up (as stated previously a few times) and then people can decide if they want to purchase the exhaust or not.

Although at that time they will be looking at the retail price.

So would the angled exhaust be louder then? Is it the angled or the stacked version in this video?.....

Thanks bud, I think the guys over on this site still have a lot to learn as far as high performance modifications go. I mean its nice to think you would gain 30rwhp from an exhaust, but it just isn't realistic.
