Danny they posted their Dyno graph up.. If you look at blog.stillen Stillen's cat back makes like 4whp less then theres. /laugh

George@GTM 04-09-2009 02:30 PM

The two 370s in the shop right now don't have an exhaust on them at all because they have twin turbo systems being installed on them.

Once we get a full production version on a car we will take more videos, as well as some drive by videos. At the point in time anyone who is local that would like to come down and share their impressions with the forum is more than welcome.

Thank you.

No they do not, shipping will vary depending on your location.

Negative. You can not compare the numbers directly as these were different dyno's, you can only compare the gains over the base run. With the stock cats this exhaust gains 10 whp.

+1

One of the big reasons I went with Stillen...

It's not making more power than the Stillen.. Semtex car made 291WHP from a 254WHP base (from another 370Z on the same dyno). That is 37WHP while still remaining legal in 49 States with the HFC's.

I can understand that they are doing turbo kit fitting on BOTH their 370z. That is pretty exciting, however it seems like GTM disappeared for for a month and came back with 2 new pictures and a price tag. Obviously I am biased because I bought the Stillen exhaust already, but that doesn't take away from the fact that there are barely any audio clips, they still have pictures of their prototype, they completely ignored my question about what the sparks were flying out of their exhaust in the last video and they ignored everyone in the forums for the last few weeks. Meanwhile Stillen was sending parts out for independent customers to test out?

Nothing personal GTM, but customers need to be informed before they spend money, specially so in these hard economic times. I thought your exhaust sounded awesome when I heard your dyno clips and had cash in hand ready to pull the trigger, but in the end you kinda made the choice for me :(

I am eagerly looking forward to your test results and your upcoming video clips! I still think your exhaust sounds great.

EDIT: also..theres a vendor for sale section in the forum...we dont need 3 threads about your exhaust on the intake/exhaust section of the forum. One would be good enough.

I am sorry you feel that way. The exhaust wasn't available for purchase then so we wouldn't have been able to help you out at that point in time.

I don't understand the "fishy" comments, an exhaust system is one of the many parts we are developing for the platform with more to come.

For those that don't know, we don't just develop products, we build and tune cars - everyday. Hence why we are so busy and sometimes miss some posts between the various forums we are active on.

If anyone has question that they need answered right away feel free to give me a call at the shop.

A cat-back exhaust made 37rwhp? you are directing your fishing comments at the wrong person :D

George,

I was there the day the car made 37hp over my stock 370z. it is very legitimate numbers and that power is made on forged performance's dyno. Which is very well known to make lower than normal numbers. I am patiently waiting for your products as Sharif and I are looking to work together on a big project with my 370z using alot of your products. I understand the workings of a shop and believe me it gets busy (I work on race bikes). I would love to see a final production exhaust with the option of titanium or burnt steel tips 4-4.5" wide that would be killer! I believe no matter what exhaust you slap onto a 370z if its designed right its going to put up BIG numbers...

Keep up the good work and I look forward to using your TT kit in the future.

Now I see what everyone is referring too, I thought someone actually posted a before and after dyno graph showing a 37 rwhp gain. The numbers in this thread:

http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...html#post54283

Are not a valid comparison of gains and should not be used as such. I am sorry but there is just no way the car would gain that much power from a cat-back exhaust and high flow cats. I understand a lot of member in this community are new to the modified car scene, but these types of gains are just impossible and laughable to many.

I can understand the confusion though, no hard feelings :D

I think you will be very impressed with our twin turbo system, we are looking forward to earning your business!
