RJ MFG is proud to announce we will be doing another group buy on the Oil pump gears. The last group buy was a success and we now have atleast 6 guys running well into the 8k+ rpm range on stock motors!

1. Why Oil Pump Gears?
A. The Oil pump is the heart of your motor. It lubricates all the parts within the motor. When a pump fails or in the case of the 370z the gear shatters no oil reaches the parts and a catastrophic failure is just moments away.

2. What make these different from Stock gears or Nismo Racing gears?
A. The Stock and Nismo Racing pump gears are made using powdered metal. While this is a cost effective way to mass production it does not present the user with an overly strong gear. We use a specialized Tool steel that is used in high end drag racing and road racing applications. We have also designed the gear to be symmetrical instead of asymmetrical from the factory. This gives the gears more contact surface which translates to better power distribution and efficiency.

3. Have these gears been tested?
A. Yes, and in fact each gear is blue printed.

4.What can I expect to gain from this upgrade?
A. We often tell clients this is a Reliability mod but with the added benefit of pushing the motor further and safer. We have seen stock oil pump gear failures as soon as 2000mi on the odometer.

5. How long will it take to install one?
A. depending on the mechanic and resources we have seen as fast as 4 hours and as a standard no more than 8 hours. Depending on your mechanic and his rates your cost to install may vary.
