How long will this be open? I can't jump in just yet, but I'll hopefully be able to get in in a few weeks.

MAMotorsports 10-22-2015 10:57 AM

At the rate it is filling up, id like to keep it open for about 2 weeks. If after that there is still a large amount of people that want in I can start a new one!

warpeacelove 10-22-2015 11:01 AM

Warpeacelove and Lim'G37.

This is the right stuff, heres the question: if i change out to a lighter flywheel and clutch setup, this causes an imballance from the original desing in wheight ratio front to back of the engine, this damper can adjust weight to the new flywheel clutch weight?

Food for thought. How many people are using the light weight clutch set-up with the light weight pulleys?

I don't think you answered his question. Eventually people will want to upgrade, i know within the next year I'll be purchasing a lightened flywheel and upgraded clutch kit. I would like to know if this damper can adjust.

More so than the stock damper. I think it will help even more with a lightened flywheel setup.

I know I didn't answer his question. It's a question it's self.

I'm wanting a light weight clutch set-up in the future too.

derraj06 10-23-2015 12:56 PM

Daelen can correct me if I am wrong but this would most likely perform better than oem with a light weight flywheel. If I'm not mistaken, the oem pulley is not a balancer, only a vibration damper as is the dual mass flywheel. If you remove the dual mass wheel then the vibration could increase. Adding this dampening pulley should help decrease the vibrations, especially at higher RPMs.

If you guys want a tester for this, I'll add myself to the list for the group buy and put one on with my sub 2lb clutch and lightweight steel flywheel. It will be one of the most light weight setup a Z will see.

Spooler 10-23-2015 09:13 PM

With your future plans, I really do think its worth it, even more so at the group buy price.

I like where your head is at, but in the grand scheme of things changing the Clutch/flywheel will not have to much affect as far as harmonics go on a stock motor, as long as the flywheel was balanced when built.

This damper helps lessen the vibration in the crank at the points in the power-band where they are most damaging. The clutch/flywheel should not cause any vibrations that this cant handle.

If this fits a G37 that is going turbo I am in...

List is on the 1st post, we are 2 away!

MAMotorsports 11-04-2015 03:02 PM

We are 1 away! Production has started and they are just a couple weeks out!

Who wants to be #10?

Lt8Che 11-04-2015 07:04 PM

My upcoming build will be a TT Stroker (cammed) G37x w/7AT. Would this work for the application? It seems like the added balance would be a great precaution.

If this will work, put me down as the 10th!

zguynate 11-04-2015 11:06 PM

Hmmmm. I'll be building a motor pretty soon....

This is 100% a beneficial modification to your motor, do you know what stroker kit you plan to use?

Will add your name to the list.

Hmmmm I autocross my car frequently and I'm very interested in this product. From the increased efficiency are there expected horsepower gains? I have seen many people talking about that online but no dyno sheets. I have most available bolt-ons and putting down 331whp - and I expect to stay N/A for quite some time.

Rusty 11-08-2015 11:29 AM
