I actually just came in to post an update.

My ATI rep was finally back in the office. I have finalized the amount we need based on the group buy.

They are now in coating and I have all the boxes ready to ship them out. Late Friday or Monday I will be picking them up and sending them out.

All customers will be contacted with a tracking number at that time.

I do apologize on the wait time, as ATI kind of put me in a bind with my rep being out.

Let me know if anyone has any questions and I will be more than happy to answer!

I was hoping to get this before Christmas. That way it would come with the rest of the packages. Making it easier to sneak in the house. :rofl2:

If anyone from the group buy wants to back out, I would like one. If that isn't going to happen, can I still purchase one directly from manufacturer?

Chuck33079 12-21-2015 09:14 PM

So these shipped out Friday or today? Did anyone get their tracking info?

NeverBoneStck 12-21-2015 09:52 PM

Haven't received anything and this is holding up my TT install

Rusty 12-21-2015 09:52 PM

Nothing so far.

MAMotorsports 12-22-2015 10:59 AM

Hello everyone,

I actually am out of the office so I apologize for the lack of activity on the forums. I prepped all boxes with Shipping labels on Friday in preparation of their arrival, and they got to MA late yesterday (12/21) they are being boxed up and sent out over the next day or so. I have all the tracking info and will try to get it to each individual as I can!

If you need it asap please PM me the name on the order and I will respond with tracking as I am able to!

Not a problem at all!

Thank you guys!

I do have one favor to ask, if you are on Facebook go ahead and give the shop page a like, and if you have a chance good reviews are always helpful!

Mine has arrived as well. Just so everyone knows mine weighed in a 6.55lbs on a certified scale. OEM is listed at 4.7lbs so this will be an increase in rotational mass. Probably not enough to notice but those who watch every ounce might like having the knowledge.

Daelen, anything special about the install on these or is it simply unbolt and replace? I seem to recall some discussion a while back about a clearance thing but I can't find the thread.

Thanks as always my friend!

Firefox does not like the javascript on here anymore

That was only for the dry sump version, this is an oem replacement. Did you open the packet? You will need a damper installation kit it install the damper properly. Thats my 2 cents

binary0x01 01-04-2016 06:55 PM

Got mine last week. Looks dope.

I did open the packet, mine contained nothing specific to the install of this item. I know the dry sump version needed a lot of work but I was pretty sure there was something to watch on these as well. It's not a terrible job to do, just wanted to check with him just in case. Thanks for the info.

ENT-Z 01-06-2016 04:46 PM

I'm late to the party but bought one as well after group buy ended. Looking forward to seeing some write up on the install from someone from this group buy. anyone install yet?

I got foot surgery on the 27th. The surgeon said that recovery is around 3 months. I got a lot of stuff to do before then. So hopeful I'll install mine sometime in March. :shakes head:

Seemed pretty straight forward to me. The damper was already assembled, so the only thing that you need to do is measure the crank OD, then measure the inside of the damper. Subtract one from the other and if you're within spec, then you're good to install. Not sure what you would do otherwise? One would think that it would only be a problem if the tolerance was too loose.

For me, the hardest part of the job was getting the craftsman pulley puller to stay in place so I could pull the old pulley off. The ATI damper install kit looks like a fancier pulley puller to me, but I don't have one so its just a guess.

Removing the radiator didn't leave me with much space so rather than trying to tap the damper on with a plastic hammer, I pressed it on by tightening the crank bolt until it bottomed out.

BuckeyeZ 02-26-2016 04:36 PM

So who has installed one of these yet? I am interested to get some initial feedback and observations. Is noise, vibration, and harshness improved? Throttle response impacted? Smoother idle?

I am mainly interested to know observations from those non-boosted (since that is what I am), but any observations will be helpful.

derraj06 03-15-2016 07:47 PM

I finally got around to installing mine. Didn't need a puller for the OEM pulley. It fell off after I broke the bolt loose. Motor seems a tad bit more well behaved. Idle seems to be a little smoother, although I did change my oil at the time so it'll take a while to see how much of that is fresh oil and how much is pulley. Haven't noticed significant throttle response changes. Perhaps a small bit slower, but not enough to care. Seems to go through 5500-7500 easier but that could just be me. Gonna let a friend drive it and see if he notices anything soon.

BuckeyeZ 03-16-2016 01:08 PM

Thanks derraj06. Anyone else have any experience to report?
