Block is at the machine shop currently getting the piston to wall clearance set, line honed for the main studs, micropolishing the crankshaft, balancing the assembly, and valve jobbing the heads. The OE bearings will be coated to help reduce friction and increase load capacity, and fully blueprinted as everything we build is. Hopefully they can turn it around for us in about 2-3weeks so we can share more progress.

Had to wait forever for the Carrillos to arrive, well worth it for a rod you can depend on though.

Thanks,
Alex Goodwin

Thats why they make "winter" blends of E70 vs. E85.

I got myself a pair of those upgraded MAF's! :happydance:

The wait is killing me though. My Z has been down since June!!! Wish I had gone IPP instead of building it local.

yeah the blended stuff will light ok when it is cold, all i am saying is straight E is a spring-fall only thing.

Man I've really gotta hurry up getting the old engine and SC kit outta the car so it's ready for this monster.

I ended up speaking more in depth with BP and going with the larger hotside turbine so better top end.

Well in the words of Tom Petty, the waiting is the hardest part. Hope to have more progress here in the coming weeks.

After a long wait for the main bearings, we finally got the components back from the machine shop. Finally, ready to start reassembly!
