![]() For oil pressure I added a tee to the turbo oil line take off for the sender. I think there's a pic in my build thread. I'm still trying to find a good solution for oil temp. If you are comfortable tapping aluminum then I'd suggest tapping the oil pan spacer before you install that. |

think I found a solution.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-670063/overview/ Replace outlet fitting on the oil sandwich, install with a tee to have 2 ports available. You could replace both fittings but im not sure if the return side from the cooler will have enough pressure to be accurate still. That and the v2's have Thermostatic plates. Theres also oil drain plugs with 1/8npt for temp gauges. but yeah tapping the pan spacer for the temp and run your setup for pressure seems like the most accurate way.

Problem with that fitting, in addition to what Sasha mentioned, is most oil temp probes are to long to screw into it. |

The new oil cooling system does not have a 3/8" NPT thread on the Mocal sandwich plate. It is metric with an O-ring. Best bet is to add another T fitting on the turbo oil supply line, right at the OEM OPS.

Ideally, you would want something like this in the oil pan spacer:
http://meas-spec.com/uploadedImages/...sion_probe.jpg It will measure actual oil temperature in the oil pan, which is where the oil pump pulls it out of.

Where'd you find that length of probe? Also would I be wrong in assuming that you could just splice that probe on to any gauge harness to replace what came with the gauge? |

About 1,100 feet of bubble wrap later...and everything is done. 4 kit have been shipped out on Friday, and the rest will be going out next week. I should have everything on the way to you guys by Wednesday.
It was a lot of work...it felt like a lot more than I had anticipated, but then again, that is a lot of product to be shipped out. In the future, I will more than likely stick to batches of 6 kits at a time. It is much more manageable, especially with somewhat limited space I have to work with. Thank you all for your orders, it is very much appreciated. I am looking forward to seeing all the builds in the next couple of months. Cheers!
