My 5k budget mid mount turbo build

Curious on what fuel pump you went with and injectors? What is your goal on the stock block?

340lph fuel pump 850cc injecors and stage one fuel return. i know i want atleast 500 but jon at z1 thinks i can get close to 600

ok sorry it took so long but here is the list of everything i have so far for my kit


percision 6266 anti surge turbo
tre 340lph fuel pump with cjm adapter kit and fuel pump harness
cjm stage one fuel return
five-0 850cc fuel injetors( alot of people dont like these but they work great in my talon on 30psi)
tread stone intercooler
tail 50mm bov and 44mm wastegates
greddy oil pan
oil filter reloction kit so u can have a air filter behind the bumper
30 row oil cooler
10an and 8an oil lines
uprev tuner
2in stainless steel tube
2.5 aluminum tube for charge pipe
2.75 aluminum for intake tube
header flanges was made out of 3/8 stainless stel by hand
1/2 stainless steel twin scroll turbo flange

i'm also powder coating all my pipes. ive been powder coating for about three years

other things you well need that i bought for the project
tig welder from eastwood
band saw from haber freight
and google

i hope this helps with other peoples projects when i started this i didnt know anything and did not know how to weld or tig at all...

i'm a Staff Sergeant in the ARMY and work from 60 to 80 hours a week and i did this much in about 4 1/2 mounths...

One quick question, on a scale of 1-10 (easy-hard) what would you rate it for building the kit yourself?

Any tips you can give for anyone that is interested in building their own turbo kit?

Looks good and props for going at it on your own. Hope your arm heals up ok and you have at least a decent recovery. In for finished results.

the scale of 1-10 well be on how mechanially inclined you are.

as for tips do your research. get a welder that does stainless and aluminum and pratice pratice pratice and maybe take a welding class.
and last be extremely patient there was times over the last 5 months i wanted to trade my car in and sell all my parts....but my wife keep pushing me to finsh it....i hope this helps

Thanks and the arm not bad still cant feel my right hand but i can finally drive a stick so i'm happy....i just ordered the last couple of parts to finsh the kit but i leave next week till the end of september...sucks

first thing first i have to make sure i can make the power i want. if it makes the power that i want i mite think about it...but as of right now it's just mine and one of my buddy's wants me to make him one to, but like said i'm building 5 other cars of my own which is 05 350z, 95 talon tsi, 91 300zx 2+2, and a 92 s10....i have alot on my plate

good news update

cjm stage one fuel return is on the way.

now all i need is a base map. jon at z1 has gave me one for start up but cant go into boost with it....i could buy one from R/T tuning for the BP kit for 200...just dont know

anyone have any in put?
