True true. I remeber asking the guys at Stillen when I first bought it, and asked why it didnt come with a boost gauge. They said its so perfectly made to put out 8psi there was no need. I was worried I had a vacuume leak somewhere, and wanted to get a boost gauge for future use.

Agreed too so I didn't say that. I just wasn't looking forward to being smack in the head with three gauges and pill pod and the airbag LOL

AHAH they didn't say that did they. WOW what's that I smell.
Don't get me wrong either I ran their kit and made very good power but had to change a bunch on things. The tune was the first thing I change I only made +42 WHP over my bolted numbers. I would always run a boost gauge on a FI car.. I will have their kit again one day soon also.

That shouldn't happen. Gale does not modify the factory attachment points at all. The pillar will perform as designed during an impact and deployment. You will have no more change of getting hit with the pillar than you would without gauges on it.

Thats funny since there instructions tell you to check the level of boost after install to make sure it is correct.

Ah sales people, they will say anything sometimes.
A boost gauges I would say is vital, along with an AFR gauge also (though I do not have one currently). Find yourself a solid tuner and get it built for you and I bet it will improve your 1/8.

Im sure the guys at the Nissan dealership did check it with a boost gauge after they installed it. if not, oh well. I'm looking into a shop near me that will re-tune it and i'll be adding a boost gauge in the near future. Second step is making sure I cut into the correct tube, im a little fuzzy on which one I should use.

For the Boost Gauge? You tap into the vac line for the fuel pressure regulator on the rail.

Please post back with where you found a UpRev tuner when you do. All of my family was from your area and I'm guessing Indianapolis or Chicago will be the closest with the price of UpRevs buy in.
