Yes but now it will need to be re-tuned for the other pulley if he ever gets it from gtm. You know vsr makes an awesome single turbo kit from what I hear and at only 10psi makes just over 500whp on a stock exhaust.. Even with that other pulley your only looking at another 40-50whp and 40-50tq...

Trust me, I know the pain... I am having to buy a whole bunch of parts (e.g. O2 sensors) that GTM did not return to me when I liberated my car to get the car back running. Not pleased.

Looks like sam does it again, another happy customer..

Sorry buddy. You should know whether it's a STG 1.5 vs 1 based on the air filter location and the motor mount, right? The pulley is at least a fairly easily correctable issue.

I didn't realize that, can a 1 be upgraded to a 1.5 later then?

Yes. In fact, I think 1.5 really only exists as an upgrade kit. Search for the original thread on it.

It was clearly a trick question, as you would never receive the parts to do the upgrade...

Sam claims that one issue is that the Rotrex SC needs to be broke in with 60 miles before being revved WFO which Bobby says he didn't do. Supposed to gain more boost when broke in.

it is a friction drive so that would make sense. hopefully they don't get damaged if ran to hard prematurely.

So you have the 1.5 then?

And yes, he does

Do you really think breaking in the supercharger is going to yield another 50 or so whp? I'm guessing the only way it would show more whp would be if the temps are cooler if they dyno it in the morning and even that without touching the tune would be very minimal..

There is another issue going on, this kit puts out 485-500 to the wheel with the 88mm pulley all the time.

If I had this kind of money to throw around I would just get a C7 and call it a day. I can imagine the wife's look when I tell her i need a turbo kit on top of the SC.:gtfo2:...and out I would go.

I don't car for American vehicles either but the C7 is pure sex. I just want the Z51 package and the magnetic ride control and you'll never hear me b*tch again.
