Throttle body nitrous kit

so i found this for the R35 GTR and was wondering if it would work for the 370z?

GT-R R35 NITROUS PLATE SYSTEM (35-300HP)

i think the GTR and 370z share the same throttle bodies but im not 100% sure

any help is appreciated

Your better off with Dynotune nitrous kit man its 499.99 out the door plus shipping  but it depends on preference from other nitrous brand

How much in extras and crap do you have to buy?
And how much extra labor on the install

i don't know bout this one... but i know dynotune doesn't come with window switch/wide open throttle switch....so you have to buy one and you will need a wide band also and a purge kit!!....that's as basic as you can go!!...or i would go!!......zex kits are pretty good also...but you would need to add a window switch, wide band and purge kit!!......also as basic as i would go on the zex kit!!!..plus zex regulates your fuel depending on how pressure your nitrous has!!....so you never to lean or rich!!..

not much, just a bottle warmer, remote bottle opener, purge kit, window switch, TPS switch, bottle pressure gauge and n2o to fill the bottle(give or take $800)

install is easy enough to DIY, shouldnt take more than a day tbh

price difference between this kit and the zex 350z HR kit is about $500

why would i need a wideband? the 370z has one stock that i can pull reading from straight off the ECU

but i did forget about the built in controller the Zex kit has with their HR kit

i wonder if i could use these plates and the zex kit to create a throttle body zex kit, do you know if the Zex kit is 100% bolt on from the HR 350z to the 370z?

Why does Zex recommend 6-8 inches away from throttle body and these are directly on the throttle. anyone?

its the type of nitrous kit, Zex is using intake foggers, this nitrous express kit uses throttle body plates to spray the nitrous into the intake manifold, than you also have direct port nitrous which is foggers installed directly into the intake manifold spraying down directly into your valves(this isnt possible on our stock manifold, we would need an all metal manifold like the kinetix prototype intake manifold)

i know the Z has a wide band factory ..but i wont always have a laptop in my car to data log..so i wouldn't mind have a wideband gauge just to make me feel better...

i don't see why couldn't you use the plate with the zex kit!!....all it does is eliminate the nozzles for the plates!!

im almost positive is 100% compatible with the 370z....i pm Joe from z speed asking him the same question but he never answer me!!

ah, see i can pull everything up on my phone using torque whenever i need to lol but i understand what you're saying(i just think gauges are a little old school)

im going to have to look more into this cause if i cant do direct port nitrous(without swapping to a different intake manifold at least), i think throttle body injection would be the next best thing

RICAN 03-07-2014 03:16 PM

keep us posted man!!!....i think il be buying the zex kit in a few months!!....

i definitely will be, but so far i called nitrous express and they told me they dont sell the GTR throttle plates separate so i think i might just go with the Zex kit or the dynotune kit

its going to be whichever is cheaper at this point, both kits are proven kits

im pretty excited though

RyanWest 03-08-2014 02:02 AM

so is it safe to say running a 75 shot on these plates are ok?
