See this right here is the problem. I was afraid of this too and honestly, I don't think it's really an issue. GTM is a forum sponsor but you'd better believe AK or whoever is in charge here isn't going to risk the entire forum for one sponsor that pays a pittance every year to advertise. If AK or the armed branch of ~the370z.com~ decide that GTM is hosing their members, their "sponsor" status will be yanked in a hurry. There is no wacky sinister agenda here. Sam is not in cahoots with forum mods/admins. People are still scratching their heads and trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

In the meantime, DO NOT GIVE GTM YOUR MONEY. Wait and see what happens. Either they'll go bankrupt or this will all be quietly swept under the rug if they refund/fill the orders they've taken.

Please don't start implying that the forum is in on this. That's just dumb. They are regular car guys like the rest of us.

It's clearly in black and white. Lots of members are trying to get their money back from gtm after the lies they were fed. Thread was cleaned up in the beginning by mods saying "on topic please" until the crap hit the fan when they finally said "ok guys good luck will keep this thread open". You yourself are saying don't give gtm money til this clears up. And then when it does you want these same guys to go back and give gtm money AGAIN?

Not sure what you're trying to say but I'm not trying to speak "politically" correct. You wanna brown nose that's all on you. But there's plenty of info here to state otherwise. This ain't the first car forum it HAS happened and certainly won't be the last.

No. I said wait and see what happens before you even consider giving them money. If mods were cleaning the thread in the beginning, that's because GTM hasn't done anything like this before. They were jerks and they were SLOW jerks, but no one ever accused them of not delivering product before or taking money in bad faith. This is a whole other can of worms at this point.

Please stop the conspiracy nonsense. No one here stands to profit by "sanitizing" this thread. Clearly, there's a ton of negative, anecdotal evidence here that still stands and hasn't been edited so if the agenda were really to hide GTM's wrongdoings here, all of that would have been edited out already and the people posting it would have been banned/shadowbanned. Use your head.

You really are clueless aren't you? If you havent figured it out by now here is a run down. Back in the day GTM was the largest sponsor of MY350Z.COM, probably a super platinum package that cost $1200 per month or so.(Im just throwing a number out there I cant remember what it cost to sponsor the forums back then) Any negative press was immediately dealt with by the forum moderators, plenty of them were GTM customers at highly discounted rates at the time.I know this for a fact, I have seen it first hand. EVERYTHING and when I tell you EVERYTHING was censored, it truly was.

Had I been allowed to speak my mind back then after discovering the truth about Sam and GTM then a ton of people may have been saved a lot money and this thread would not exist.

The forums are owned mostly by Internet Brands and rely on sponsors and advertising, and are in it to make money. They dont care about the truth, never did and never will.

However if it does come out that GTM was committing fraud and the forums knew about it or were made aware of it and did nothing to stop it, they can be held liable civilly or criminally. Most likely in civil court.

Dude, nobody here is defending GTM. You're so far off the deep end that someone being rational comes across to you as defending Sam. And we were all doing just fine here bashing GTM and having a good old time and then you decided to come in here and make it about you. Here's the thing- nobody cares. I'm sure it was a kick in the nuts the Sam and one of your best friends somehow singlehandedly destroyed what was up until then a thriving successful shop . Because that can happen. One parts supplier in cahoots with a former friend can ruin a business that was doing just fine until then. You said you've moved on. Prove it. Move on. Moving on isn't joining a forum just to post about how Sam is a retard. News flash- We know. You're not helping anyone.
