Dude that's seriously scary. I'm payed in for a stage 1.5 sc, Sam swears it's all done except the powdercoating on the piping, but of course his word doesn't mean anything. And I feel like if I demand my money back I just won't ever get it. This sucks, makes me wish I'd just bought an evo.

Sorry, I'm not in the group buy and I don't care for GTM, but you are feeding a load of bullshít.
I walked in, no appointment to give SSFirehawk's sway bars to Sam. And I asked if I could have a walk through, he was a tad hesitant, but he walked me through, I walked underneath SS's car, fully checked out bulllitt's 1000WHP car too. I thought the fact that the guy has got several CNCs, dyno, 10-20 cars on lifts was deeply impressive actually, the only thing Sam was douchey about was letting me take pics even though SS and Bullitttt asked me to.

Now... Since then, the cars aren't going anywhere, it looks like their shop is a black hole, so it's all less impressive.

As for it not having a name and sketchy... The building is really nicer on the outside. ITS IN A BUSINESS PARKWAY, all the buildings look the same. I don't recall any building having writing out front actually.


I've also visited Bulletproof, they let me in, but not in the back, and their shop didn't say BA either and was in a "sketchy" business parkway too!!! Don't buy anything from them!!! OMG!!!

Any recent news about GTM shop from members that are not in MHI group are welcome, as long as they have actually been there recently.

I passed by on Saturday recently, Sam's car was there.

Unfortunately I wouldn't know what to do even if I did go in... Yell at this guy I don't know who evidently had his head cut open and hassle him about a product I'm not in line to buy? Not sure what that'll accomplish...

And I'm confident they still have a bunch of cars on lifts and I'm sure work is being done, on what exactly? No idea.

I am willing to bet they're still doing plenty of business locally. You would be surprised how many people aren't on the forums and drop thousands of dollars not knowing what goes on behind the scenes.

I am in line to receive a product and I still don't know what to say. I literally talk to Sam every day to check up on my kit, and every day he says it's "at the powder coaters but they'll pick it up later and it'll ship tomorrow morning".

Just record that line and replay it every morning when you wake up and it'll save you a phone call.

I went through the same thing with him before deciding I was totally wasting my time. I suspect he really doesn't remember what he has told someone from day to day. and that is the best possible explanation. My suggestion is to not continue doing the same thing and expecting different results.

The definition of insanity is doing something over and over while expecting different results. Is Sam insane by telling us the same thing over and over again or are we to blame for believing it.

Good for you I suppose, however I was there and that is the exact experience I had as a person coming from out-of-state. It was pretty ridiculous to call the shop on my cell phone from outside the parking lot only to be TURNED AWAY.

Seeing a shop that does not have their name on the shop (keep in mind it USED TO) and locked up procedures (Pablo told me that one the phone before being turning me away) it tends to raise a little suspicion to most level headed folks. Definitely not something that screams, I want to remain in business as I mentioned previously they used to be GTM branded building with open door policy when I was back there in '08 getting my car TT'd.

At my most recent visit I was hoping to go and buy the GTM waste gate conversion kit right there but that's how that solid hour drive from Los Angeles turned out. Granted I was in LA for work, but well that gave me the info I needed to know to go through a reseller as worst case my builder can just custom fab a set - just trying to save a few bucks to go with a kit already made for the TT setup and time is on my side. This isn't my first rodeo with them and I've done a lot of business with them which definitely went down hill over time.

But main point is to help these guys out on this thread with the knowledge that the shop does still seem to be doing work which if I was on this group buy would at least be something positive to hear in the sea of $hit.

Looks like Sam's Ponzi scheme caught up to him. GTM is a shady company, and have always been. Sam is such a squid, hell get whats coming to him.

I am going to chime in here for a sec... My loyalty is beyond reproach and my car has been with Sam for the longest.

Those who are making fun at his injury have no idea the seriousness of the condition and or what happened. Lets end that crap where it started.

Those who have cars at the shop... They are being worked on... Sam was on the dyno all last week tuning cars...

I cannot speak on behalf of the MHI Group buy as I do not know the status...


This part is my opinion from working with Sam and his team. They are working hard with the workload ahead of them. Sam's injury in my opinion has really been a huge blow to their progress. Sam is an integral part of the company and after his injury he jumped back into the swing of things... I think he is insane knowing the details that I do. I am very grateful he has and he has earned further respect from me for doing so. He could have taken it easy and everything would be even further behind. Pablo is one of the nicest guys you could meet or talk to. When talking to him be nice as he is your biggest ally to get your message across. He also has to listen to everyone's bitching and complaining... Of which he has no direct control! So be nice and understand!

GTM is slowly catching up and if your tired of waiting do what you think is best. If that is asking for a refund that is your choice. If that is waiting it out then more power to you. Regardless, the decision is yours. All the parts I have ever gotten from GTM have been top notch and the work has been too. I can speak from my experiences and I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I know what happened to Sam as well and yeah the whole him faking it **** needs to stop. Just because he doesn't want to play the sympathy card and tell the whole fuckin world he almost died doesn't mean you should all be asses about it.

It wasn't you it was more baer who for 2 or 3 pages decided to be *** and get people to jump in on something he was wrong about. I see now that he has gone back and deleted it. The last thing we need around here are rumors that just make things worse for no reason. The situation is pretty clear, GTM still exists, where the kits are at nobody knows, stuff is taking FO EVAH, if you are in and want your' money back take the steps you need to it's up to you.

Sam is being ripped because he has lied about the status of the group buy and other orders and has went silent on this forums after being caught up in multiple lies. Did his health issues take away his ability to type?

page 43 onto page 44, haven't looked at this in a while, but it looks like it was mostly edited out or deleted a week ago.

I still don't see why they wouldn't update a group buy they are in charge of that they started on the forum...

We don't know all we can do is speculate, I would guess they aren't done yet and since no one would believe what they have to say until stuff actually started shipping, there really isn't much point of them saying anything anyway.

There was a post saying that Sam's head was shaved and had a HUGE cut in it.

Not sure how that was misinterpreted for small injury and that the guy is faking it. You know, because I too love shaving half my head and x-acto knifing it open for shitz n giggles.


Just to put it out there, if you search the forums, you WILL find people who have the MHI kit, you will even find the guy who has the GTR manifold kit, so obviously GTM is pumping SOMETHING out, it's just that we don't really see it in the pitchfork brigade.


I will say that I still don't agree with the way the guy is running the business. I think he should hand off the baton to his employees. I think his employees CAN help people better than he can at this point. And you bet your áss I think you guys should still try to get your money back/run from GTM until they have stock of products...

As I stated my opinion was do what you have to do. I for one am seeing progress in other areas of their work in a positive way. This is also the second GTM built car I have owned. You may not like my opinion based on your own views. However, I have dealt with Sam more than any single person on this forum or any other forum. Sam and I have seen things differently from time to time but it is his business...

You guys can choose to do what ever you want. I just wanted to share the good news of the progress being made. If you want to keep your pitch forks and torches that is all fine and well but that won't get you your parts any faster...

^have you worked on your heads? Custom valve train etc? If you have how did you get the ladle to sync up with the vvel, and the solenoid stuff going back to how it was?
