How is the tune though, other than being on the rich side? Gonna be a month or so after install before i'm able to go get tuned, just curious how well it runs and everything on the base tune.

Honestly it drives really well, off of boost you would never know it has a turbo, you can cruise around town with no issue.

project x probably. I started my install a few days ago, got a lot done, but its been hard to find time the past few days to work on it unfortunately. When are you thinking of tuning, and where?

yea haha, I'm going to install my clutch at work once I finish the kit at home, then I have to break it in as well. Maybe it will work out and we can do it the same day. Just depends on how much time I get to finish installing everything. I have suspension, engine and trans mounts, and diff bushings as well to install when i'm done with the kit...

Well gang. Ill be joining you very soon.

My turbo and other parts showed up today!!!! WHOOOOP!!

Im like in the BP round 2.5 list though..lol...

My car is sitting on jack stands already with some head work out of the way. Plan on having it done mid April then putting 500 miles of clutch break in then Dyno. This will be on E85 with loads of timing for quick spool.

Cant wait!

If all goes well I should be done with the build Easter weekend. Clutch will be broken in by the end of this week so I'll be able to see full boost as soon as I do the check-out and leak testing.

we got my z in the air tonight and took a inventory of parts/ laid them out for the build. will follow the instructions up to taking the exhaust apart, once at that stage we will drop the trans and put in the clutch kit before finishing up on the turbo kit. tare down begins tomorrow

Is the tap included with the kit (and the barbs supplied) 1/8NPT?

Thanks Sasha. Figured it was but wanted to double check before I pulled the trigger on my Amazon order for a couple additional barbs.
