squeeze you still running that Mish rad? Hows it working for you? Im not forking out the cash for a GTM ill get next leap year and csf just does not seem worth the cost since it is not oversized.

boost controller will be here tomorrow! Gonna be hard to leave the gain alone till my tune on april 11th...

700WHP on pump gas and BP twin scroll 6766 T4 1.32 a/r has already been done :). This is a customer with a 350Z.

So you are right, with good/proper supporting mods this is realistic.

Precision is also working on a new 6870 turbo. So, 68mm compressor but more importantly a 70mm turbine wheel. The turbo is rated at 1050HP, and I am going to do my absolute best to make this turbo work with the twin scroll kit. By the way, that HP rating translates to 105lbs/min of air coming out of that compressor.

The turbo however is not due out on the market till late this year...but it gives us something to look forward to. It also won't be available with a twin scroll turbine, but that should not be a big deal. It will still perform extremely well.

All the Precision turbos that come with this kit are billet wheel as well, so just like the new Garrett GTX line of turbos. These don't even start to shine till you get past 20psi of boost, so all the customers out there with these 6266's and 6766's even at 550-600whp are still a long way from really waking these turbos up.

I so want to see what the bigboy turbo option would do on a built block!

Trust me I am itching to do it and I am waiting for the next batch of kits to come out.

Yes I am still running the Mishimoto radiator it's bigger than the CSF I have had both. It does a better job as well of cooling to you should get it.

I'm a little lost.... how do we bypass the HP limit with VVEL? Eliminate it with an HR swap??

Not sure what you mean by VVEL hp limit the highest I have seen on one of these engines is 850whp it was a GTM car.

COSMO 03-24-2014 04:28 PM

More hp a lot more problems and issues follow.. Just saying..

COSMO 03-24-2014 04:29 PM

Great numbers but all of that power is at the end of the rpm range.

Plus, it is coming from a 3.0 supra engine.

That comes with the territory I built my motor with a goal of 800 whp and haven't even come close due to my kit.

This is a 3.0 liter engine with 9:5 compression and still makes 800whp and 800 tq at 5500 rpm's. On a 3.7 it would spool quicker I know I sure don't mind giving up some spool for higher rpm power on pump gas. Where talking 700whp easy pump gas no E85 no meth good old 93 pump gas.
