Are you reading this through an aftermarket wideband or through UpRev software through the ECU wideband? |

From reading this I'm a little pissed off. I got the GTM racelogic control cuz I wanted launch control. When it came time to install Sam asked if I wanted the fancy display like u have shown here with 0-25% slip adjustments or the launch control with no lift shift with a generic 5% increment adjustment. Now that I have this generic box with 5% adjustment I see that you have the fancy display with more adjustment and launch control. I am maybe assuming he was meaning to say the no lift shift was with this generic clunky display? You guys are all saying this same display (I'm calling the fancy one) will do it also? I'm hoping someone can chime in and Sam or Mike can clear this up cuz I didn't spend 10s of thousands of dollars building my car to get a cheap *** display when this one would of worked the same and had more adjustment.

You have the analog unit ,and I have the digital display unit from my understanding they both have launch control. If I were you I would just swap to the digital display. |
You will have launch control, both units come with it as long as they were programmed thay way. No lift shift is something you will have to talk to them about. From all my discussions with RL you need the 4 independant abs reading unit with the software to get no lift to work.
If you hook up the racelogic software to the racelogic (via serial connection) you should be able to set launch control in there. That is one benifit to the digital is you can set all that stuff without the software. Sent from my SGH-T889V using Tapatalk 2 |

I ran into one night had what I THINK he called a PROlogic traction control module (said it was the first in America...Sam would know, he did all the work) Red Z, TT and a claimed 750 HP. The car was friggin AMAZING but, BUT, it goes thru the gears SOOOO quick that the advantage of the traction control were almost completely negated by his hitting the rev limiter. I can't remember his name but he was "testing" his new GTR Black against this monster Z. (maybe he hadn't adapted to the setup yet). The z won out easily however, the GTR was slated for a trip to Forged performance.

I did talk to Sam last night and told me if I wanted the digital display that we can definetely put it in but im limited on space. The only clean place to put it is in the glove box and its to far out of reach for that. I did get the system tapped into the abs for no lift shift. After talking with Sam I think I'm going to stick with the analog controller so the launch control is right at my finger with a button. What I'm not sure yet is how u set the rpm level u want for launch control if its an analog unit and not digital display  If the only way to adjust the launch control is with the LCD display then I will most likely have to switch displays:icon14:
Oh and Squeeze your video really amped me up to get my car back. I can't wait to be shredding tires. Not sure if I can handle more videos :bowrofl: |
Can this be used in n/a cars just for launch purposes or is that pointless?

Man just put it in the same spot I have mine right next to the Steering wheel so you can have easy access to the unit. The only other way to change the launch control settings is to hook a laptop up and make changes that way. I am doing another video this coming weekend. :driving: |
