So what you're saying is if I want to go FI I should get the most expensive install I can possibly find? LoL How does that make sense? I'm trying to find the best possible bang for my buck. I'm trying to do it right the first time...no mistakes. That's the whole point.

Anything you guys suggest I can afford flat out...trust me. It's not about the money.

I came from 300hp (original) to a littel over 500hp
(NOT WHP)

I love the extra power, and the kit for 2 years and 24'000 km :driving:
500hp are also in my view the maximum without much intervention
(but that's enough for me and had no problems so far)

Installing the kit necessarily by a professional, with a custom setting
This important suggestion I can give you

Greetings

Much appreciated.. Yeah in my area it's really hard to find a reputable shop that's not raping people due to the fact that there's not too many of them. I'm doing tons of research...and it's looking like I'm going to have to venture some hours north.

Nice!

The height of the Octane is great!

BUT:

1 liter (0.2642 gallone) will cost us 2 Swiss francs (1.6 dollars)

NOW Back to topic

don't look for the greatest deal, look for the most reputable and effective. Some places will transport your car to their shop if it's far away and will do the work. I'd rather do that then go with Stillen and a dealer. But that's a personal opinion.

almost worth it to make the trip to Z1 in Atlanta.

LoL..yeah it's looking like a unanimous decision on the dealer. But in terms of a deal I was referring to the parts themselves.. As in if there's a reliable site offering a SC kit for 9k and another offering the same one for 6k.. I'd definitely prefer the one for 6k.

Btw I appreciate everyone's input.

Hmmm...Atlanta you say? Not too far. I'll do some research...I hear quite a bit of chatter about them. I thought they made parts..I didn't know they were a tuner shop... LOL..please excuse my ignorance.

I am of the same opinion!
For such a conversion, just go to an experienced tuner

I'm fortunate enough to have some reputable shops near me, but Z1 is very good at tuning the Z's. Friend of mine that lives close to me took his there. I wouldn't hesitate to take mine there if i didn't have any other options here. Nothing worse than a bad tune from an unreputable shop, or a shop that has never worked on a Z, or a shop that has never worked with the Stillen kit. Z1 has, and you can ask any of the Atlanta Z guys, they'll swear by them.

Good luck, no one said to go for the most expensive kit. You chose to go with the cheapest and most inferior kit. Hope it turns out good for you.

If you don't mind me asking, what are you getting out of your SC?

What other kit would you suggest?

391whp. But that was on a mustang dyno which reads lower than dynojets do. I plan to re-dyno on a dynojet (easier to compare to everyone else's numbers) after i get my clutch and diff installed.
