Just a word of advice if you have never been shown how to properly drag launch a car, but make sure you load up the drive train. Dont just drop the clutch, no beuno, will greatly increase the chance of breaking stuff, binding up all the bushing torqueing the piss out of the motor/trans mounts. But at the same time loading up the drive train reduces the life span of your clutch, but better to destroy that than most anything else. Either way you got the pay to play if you going to launch your car.
Me personally I have never launched my Z, I care about it too much to do that. I will roll into throttle from first and go to the top and land on 2nd like a fat girl falling off a bike with speed wobbles though. Nothing harder on the car than launching from a dig. |
