Stillen supercharger long term reports

I am hoping that this thread will serve as a repository of knowledge dedicated to the Stillen Supercharger on the VQ37 platform.
Information I believe will be valuable to readers of this thread include:
1. Date of install
2. Model year of car
3. Model of car G37 vs 370Z
4. Problems at install
5. Late problems - including mileage at which they occurred and nature of problem
6. Stillen's actions relevant to warranty
7. Upgrades and modifications to the kit - including modifying the UpRev tune
8. Max HP achieved - and how - UpRev tune, increased PSI (smaller diameter pulley), etc.
9. Additional mods - Exhaust, clutch, etc
10. Current miles on kit
11. Would like to know the max HP any one has achieved with the Stillen Kit
12. Most miles anyone has achieved with the kit.

09' 370z
Stillen kit installed aug 2011
Max hp 432rwhp @ 7500 rpms
Max tq 340rwtq @ 5200 rpms
Max boost 10psi on 9lb pulley

Other mods

Ark exhaust
Random tech high flow cats
Built motor 9.1cr

Total miles on kit less then 3500 miles

Kit being replace with s&r single turbo kit

Why I am happy with the power the kit made but I want. More and I can't get there with out doing a lot of mods to the kit
Also the water to air intercooler is not that great and it gets very very hot in summer adding more power will only make that worst

Thanks swiss370Z. Just as a curiosity, have you been retested for Swiss emissions control standards? Since all of the mods were completed?

Hello irondoc

Here in Switzerland, we have no chance with HFC to pass the emissions test!
The "Z" comes with the original catalysts by controlling.
With a new car, the official exhaust emission test for the first time
after 4 years are made, then every 2 years.

by the way...

For the official entry in the Swiss-papers we had to install even in the original exhaust system! (You know how quiet it is?:icon14:)

Why:
The Nissan was too loud for the test with my first FOX- exhaust system!

Shamu - NICE....
Do you happen to have numbers from before the headers?

wifedrivenZ 02-09-2013 08:29 PM

I must be doing something wrong because I can't get the numbers like you guys. I am thinking about removing my test pipes and see how it works.

Shamu is running PPE long tubes and a Litespeed exhaust that has no mufflers. Idk what other Voodoo he has going on, but he's making 50whp more than anyone else I've seen on a Stillen kit lol.

Lol, could also be the dyno being used... Unless u guys r all using the same dyno it will vary from dyno to dyno.

LOL...........Voodoo, huh? Those are very impressive numbers. What did you decide on SS? You going SC or Turbo?

Check my sig, got a build thread going, unfortunately... I'm waiting on the new build to start, supposedly this month.

Dynojets are pretty consistent, so I'm thinking, a +/- 3% variance in the numbers, and it's still pretty good.

Oh snap. I guess I should have read your sig first. I think you are going to have more of a beast that you anticipated on you hands with that build. I am interested in the maintenance requirements with that system as well.

Should be fun. I want to buy some short tails and slap it on my Tanabe mid pipe just to see what it would sound like haha. I would have a completely modular exhaust system then. Mounting points on the mid pipe are same as stock, which means some interesting combinations lol. Anyways, I'm getting off topic.
