Their Dyno reads low compared to a dynojet here in the USA. That car is also running Speed Density! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
That's understandable, but it make sit hard for us to compare.
|
it also says 350z at the top there...

So if you want to track the Stillen kit, you need quite a bit of cooling mods like venting the hood, fenders, etc.? Just the Frozen Boost heat exchanger (+transmission and oil coolers obviously) won't be adequate?
|
It's more your intake temps rather than engine temps. It will heat soak quickly and blow hot air unless your running low boost.

Unfortunately I do not know who it was ... but it's there!
http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...1200px_997.jpg It's my turn to dress up my pipe in carbon  I'm expecting an answer ... Carbon would also offer a thermal sleeve I will report .... |
nice! I'm guessing that would get excellent results. On my wrx I had gold foil on before I sold it. Golf foil alone on the endtanks of the intercooler reduced temps by around 65 degrees F.
I'm guessing that if it was wrapped in gold foil, the stillen manifold coated in something heat expelling, the compressor wrapped in a blanket like the turbo blankets, and the intakes getting some proper airflow that the temps would be far more under control than they would be in a turbo vehicle. An e85 tune would also help... |
Ill be going air to air and e85 next month.
