So, ive read throught multiple pages of this thread a few times
So pretty much, with a 7AT fully stock, can handle the stillen supercharger but not for long reliability? Of course with the trans cooler, oil cooler, exhuast , tune... Trans is still bound to fail? My thing is, when on the highway, im usually not in manual mode, and thats when i do most of the spirited driving... Overtaking cars and such... And it seems from reading gear 5-7 is the most dangerous where u cant push the car hard.... And i love stomping on the acceleration on the highway... Just seems counter productive for me to go FI |
I think you'll be okay with the stock SC kit since that's only around 300 wtrq.

I boost often up top with my S/C Auto, not afraid to go! The other night had a few pulls to a Buck 40 plus and one to 157 MPH and was still ready for more.:driving:

Picked up my car today from Fast Intentions and it feels absolutely amazing! The transmission works flawlessly. Now time to drive back to Texas!

Im 7AT with 440HP and 320TQ and mine just gave out on me with the Stillen SC and smaller pulley after 8,000 miles. Going the Level 10 route as we speak.

Level 10 is a stand up shop and does great work for our 7A/T's. I had mine done with their "bulletproof" package rated to 700whp.
I had a chance to visit them as well when they had my car and the guys at the shop are very personable and take time to do things right. I have a complete write up on myg37: Review Level 10 Performance Transmissions - MyG37 |

unfortunately i'm still waiting to get my car back with built motor/turbo kit/level10 tranny. 7at is a different monster, but i know their 5at is currently on a twin turbo fx35 putting down 900whp on racegas. near 1000whp it started having some slight issues so was sent in for adjustments even though it was after their warranty period they are still improving it for freeee! |
