Lol. You have 4" outlet right? Could always use a 4 to 2x3" reducer.

Quick Update,
The 7AT will be on the dyno next week. For now, we are tuning it on UpRev. Still holding our breath waiting on ECUTek to get the rom files finalized and released. The car is currently "street tuned" via data logging from Sebastian at SpecialtyZ. Our 7AT upgrades are supporting the power/torque just fine! I will post all of the details and first dyno results within the next few weeks. Stay tuned... -Tony |

This platform is going to be stupid fast if you can get the AT to hold together |

Quick question about this awsome kit:
Does it need some GT Uprev MAF? Thanks :) |
Nope. Not unless you want 700+
|
Quote:
For 700whp on the Z, you best to have an upgraded intake manifold system besides other modifications. |
Quote:
And what intake manifold would you recommend, since the only options out there are lightly modified stock ones? |
So about that 7AT update...

got mine yesterday too

sweet!

I heard a rumor the auto laid down 620 rwhp.....

Do tell.....:excited: |
How much power it made on a dyno is something... does it successfully switch gears repeatedly under that power without spitting out parts is the question. I hope the answer is yes because a 600+ 7AT is going to knock down the 1/4 registry by nearly a second.
|
Im guessing it will be the first to hit 10s
|
600 wheel on the 7AT, with a good drag radial should 60' in the 1.6s and I would guess 10.6-10.7 maybe better

-UPDATE,
Yesterday was a huge success at the dyno with cycy89's car. As many of you know, we have had his car for quite some time! The road has been long and the process has been tedious, but well worth the wait. The list of mods for this specific car are listed on the dyno chart below. To touch on the 7AT trans itself... The trans has been upgraded with Excedy Clutch Packs. The flex plate has been replaced with our very own "SFI Approved" Billet Aluminum version. The SFI part comes in very handy for you drag racers! In addition, our Trans Cooler featuring a Setrab core as well. The torque converter in stock trim work just fine and has a stall of about 2200 rpm. The stock valve body in the 7AT already comes beefed up over the previous 5AT and shifts like a dream. If needed we will dip into the art of making our own aftermarket torque converter and valve body upgrade. For now we are going to get some good miles on this puppy under a street load to see what she throws back at us. I can tell you this, the car is insane fast and that's at 7.5 psi. Though this trans is no DCT it has shown us thus far that it can handle every high speed shift that we have thrown at it! We will put the car/trans through our rigorous test in the next few weeks prior to sending her home to Cy. Maybe, just maybe we can get some Driveshaft Shop upgraded axles installed and go get that 10 second pass. http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...pse84a7e2c.jpg |

then recently level10 came forward with theirs and I've been patiently waiting to see what Tony had up his sleeve since through multiple conversations with him I knew something amazing was in the works. I want boost but until recently I would have had to baby it with the AT and also given up usage of gears 5, 6, and 7 if in the boost at all. now hopefully with these upgrades the 7AT can be fully functional with boost and the power that turbos can provide. :tiphat: |
