Buy one so we can see what those cams do for the boosted guys! :stirthepot:

My cams would not be good for FI, probably, I were wondering for for one of my guys so I can give him some options. No boost for this guy till I'm over 9k cuz if I get 400 N/a I will be happy.

can this kit be diy'd? like is there a manual for it?

Every kit that is shipped out comes with our 86 page installation manual. I take great pride in the manual. I have over 100 man hours in it!

The best example of a DIY (to date) is forum member "Jaggers" doing the install himself. For a short while he ran the canned tune that Sebastian sent him. Once I was able to send him our FAST-500 return fuel system, he had Vince at RT Tuning retune the car. It made about 600 RWH on 93 Octane. Not too shabby...

Thanks.

Happy Veteran's Day Tony and to all of you that have served our country. It is because of you and those who have served in so many ways home and abroad that we are able to enjoy our freedoms.

Boost on brother...boost on :tiphat:

Thanks for the support brother. Friends/customers like yourself (and many others from this community), make this that much more worth while!

Looking forward to seeing you next month while your car is at Sebastian's for some upgrades.

Yes sirrrrr, almost complete. I cannot stress this enough. cycy89, thank you so much for your continued patience. I know how frustrating it has been that this 7AT version has taken as long as it has. The hold up has been the flex plate as you know. 2 machinists in, we finally have a product that we love and feel comfortable running in your car and distributing to the community.

Dyno results will be copming soon. I will also post pictures of the upgrades shortly. Crash Bar, Flex Plate, Trans Cooler, Torque Converter and FAST-500 / FAST-500E fuel systems.

Thank you.

Update,

As promised, (late) the FI Crash Bar is now produced. Below, we are showcasing the prototype. The only difference is that the production run will be powder coated wrinkle black. We are going to run off 10 units for the first production run. Pricing is as follows:

MSRP: $429 USD*
Intro sale pricing: $399 USD*
Exisiting FI TT kit customer: $329 USD*
New FI TT kit customer: $329 USD*

*Pricing includes powder coating
*Shipping charges are not included

With the design of our "Crash Bar" the factory tow hook will be back in stock location. This has been a request from many customers from day #1. Well, now you can have the best of both worlds. The FI TT kit and OEM tow hook retention.

Tony, a couple of questions. Can your fuel system work with phunks roadrace fuel pump? Which I have. And is there room in the front for brake cooling hoses? Because I have the Nismo RC brake ducts with the 2" hose Stillen brake cooling kit.

VSS370z 11-20-2014 09:25 AM

Great timing with that crash bar Tony. Need to call you for it!

Nixlimited 11-20-2014 09:54 AM

mfeinst 11-20-2014 10:00 AM

Our fuel system should work fine with CJ's RR setup. The main thing to check would be that we can still return the fuel to the canister. That is key!

As for the RC brake ducts, I am assuming that you are asking if they will fit with the intercooler tubing routed the way it is?! I do not know, because I have not installed it. Email me over a few pictures and I will take a look at them to see if there is compatibility.

Thanks.

Um, just spitballing here, but is there any chance that you would make something like this for a now-deceased former competitor's kits? I guarantee you could sell it.

WOW! :rofl2:

Uh...Maybe. We would need a local *** customer to bring us their car for prototyping and fit.

I am going to talk to Tony after thanksgiving to get some measurements to see if it will work with the BP kit. We will know if it fits soon.

If you know a local guy with the aforementioned "other" twin turbo kit, put him in contact with me. If you only need the car for a reasonable amount of time, I'd consider bribing him.

Just got back from Cali and spending a little time with the crew of FI at the Motor4toys car show on Sunday and at the shop yesterday. First off if you have not been to the Motor4toys car show and live in SoCa, you should, there some sic pieces of machinery there and to top it off Tony and his crew all there. His booth was hoppin the whole time I was there. Tony was just as Tony always is... awesome nothing like seeing my brothar from anothar mothar! I also go too meet and chill with Terrible and RoyaltyB, both their cars were on display. It was a pleasure meeting both these fine gentlemen. They both were grinning ear to ear as enthusiast eyeballed their fine looking rides and wanting to know about FI's TT kit. For Mr. RoyaltyB he was full of anticipation as he had not had a chance to drive his newly equipped car yet. He did get to drive it later that day I'm told and can't believe he hasn't posted yet!!!

It was also like going home when dropped my Nismo at SZ for the Fast500 fuel system upgrade. I always enjoy talking to Seb as he is incredibly knowledgeable. He provided me with a possible option for my ride that I will keep you all hanging on for now. LOL!!!! BTW there was a smoking hot gun metal Zele there as well.

Wishing my friends/family a wonderful Christmas season! :xmas3:

What are the downside of putting on a twin turbo kit to a 2013 370z automatic trans. I keep hearing that the transmission cant hold the power produced by the TT

IS THIS TRUE !!!!

The downside is the transmission can break.
The transmission is factory rated for just under 300TQ, which adding a TT kit will push that well beyond. Now many have had some success with adjusting the transmission lines via Uprev and staying out of 5/6/7 gears.

Now I hear F.I. is finishing up their built transmission. :driving:

brucelidat 12-09-2014 03:13 PM

Fast Intentions has been working on a 7at upgrade which should be ready soon from what I hear.

RoyaltyB 12-09-2014 03:29 PM

*****Fast Intentions "Twin Turbo Kit" is here*****

Bob, it was very nice meeting you and Amy on Sunday and again on Monday at the shop. I 100% agree with your sentiments on the Motor4Toys car show. There were some amazing vehicles on display and a great community of people there. Yes, I did get some seat time on Sunday after the car show, but I had very few opportunities to let her stretch her legs. Of the few times I was able to, she did not disappoint.

I will share my first boosted noob moment here so enjoy all :D

After lunch we left the parking lot and after getting stuck at a light right outside, I wanted to catch up to Tony's GTR, all of a sudden there was a total loss of power. I came off the gas, coasted a little bit got on it again and then again no power when I applied the throttle. Boosted noob fail number 1, remember to take the car out of valet mode. Let's just say Tony, Danny and Kevin had a good laugh; as did I. Although maybe I can blame it on the jet lag :P

After picking it up Monday, I had hoped I could get out of Simi Valley soon enough to avoid traffic. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Spent the next 2 hours in traffic. And although I couldn't fully enjoy the ride home, the car ran perfectly and the new SpecialtyZ clutch worked like a champ and wasn't at all cumbersome in the 2 hour stop and go traffic. Although I would have preferred to find out how nicely the clutch worked another way LOL. As soon as I get a chance to take her out, I will def be updating here.

Thanks again to Tony, Danny, the entire F.I. crew and Seb at SoecialtyZ for making my car exactly what it should be.

They did the first startup of the 7AT with upgraded transmission today. Car should be on the dyno very soon. Look for updates on the F.I. Facebook or Instagram page, or here also :)
